Facilitating the mastery of complex biological concepts in teaching genetics, attracting students to science, and systematically presenting educational material places a great responsibility on the teacher. Semantic teaching aids are noteworthy as a modern approach in this regard. This article highlights the effectiveness of teaching genetics in higher educational institutions through semantic maps, conceptual diagrams, and visual block diagrams, the positive impact of these tools on students' logical thinking, systematic thinking, and independent analysis. The article presents the advantages of semantic tools and practical recommendations for their introduction into the educational process based on the results of experimental testing.
