Abstract

This study explores the formation and characteristics of the Uzbek national mentality as a complex system deeply rooted in the country’s spiritual values, cultural traditions, and historical experiences. It highlights the inseparable connection between national mentality and moral values such as tolerance and multiculturalism, emphasizing their role in shaping social cohesion and national identity. The research also examines the philosophical and socio-political dimensions of national mentality, focusing on its impact on democratization, national unity, and cultural awakening in modern Uzbekistan. The findings underscore the importance of preserving indigenous values while fostering democratic principles to build a harmonious and progressive society.
